The national park where all tigers were extinct is now home for 42 Tigers and is spread over 1500 Sq Kms. It is a perfect blend of nature with carnivores like Leopards, Caracal, Hyena and herbivores like Cheetal, Sambhar and Spotted deer. Marwari Horse Ride

The undoubted symbol of royalty and valour of Rajasthan is a horse breed called “Marwari”, they have stood shoulder to shoulder with the warriors of Rajasthan whether in peace or at war. With the forts like Tehla and Rajourgarh in backdrop, Sariska Lodge offers an opportunity to unite with these majestic horses and relive the history. Our horse riding experiences on the time dusted trails of Sariska will let you explore natural surrounding with one of the oldest human companion.


Visit to Neelkanth Temple

Neelkanth Temple in the historic town of Rajourgarh dates back to 8 th and 9 th centaury. The temple once put in the dust of time and impacted by multiple invasions is now standing tall in its glory with it being an Archaeological Survey of India. It gives an opportunity to Soak yourself into spirituality with the time told tales of History of Rajourgarh. We welcome you to explore this forgotten chapter of history by visiting the historic site which is home for over 200 temples and numerous stepwells.


Mangalsar Sunrise

The Biggest dam built in the Matsya region by Raja Mangal Singh of Alwar is located in Tehla Village of Sariska. The experience offers beautiful view of Aravalli hills and magnificent view of the massive waterbody which is home for a lot of winter migratory birds and aquatic life. Submerge yourself in the nature when you climb up stairs of the dam to witness the sunrise on a misty morning at Lodge.


Tehla Village Tour

The ancient town of Tehla is surrounded by hills on all the four sides. In the centre on top of one of the hill is the majestic fort of Tehla guarding it from centauries. You can witness artistically done havelis silently singing folklores of this once prosperous trade route town and grandeur chatris speaking about the architectural and artistic marvel of the yesteryears. In the market you will witness different communities coming together weaving a harmonious fabric of different communities. The mixing of culture and colours is one of the reason why so many families adopted profession of weaving in Tehla.


Sun downer at Mansarovar

As the sun hides behind the hills of Aravalli and its reflection falling on the back waters of Mansarovar makes it the perfect painting palette of God with him mixing green, orange and blue together to make a memorable sunset setup that you will remember for times to come. The sky gets busy with birds returning back to nests after the days work and at distance you will hear evening temple bells. It makes a perfect setup for sunset in the village of Sariska.


Boulders at Tehla

The boulder of Tehla are a unique setup amidst the arid forest of Tehla. They make us aware how diverse India could be with a small place like Sariska offering different natural wonders. While driving amidst farmlands of Tehla the Boulder become visible, these are home for carnivores like Leopards, Hyenas, Jackals, etc. The thrill of driving between these boulders and chances of spotting wildlife make this driving experience very thrilling. Birding Tour

With the winters getting harsher in North the birds start migrating towards the plains in central part of India, that’s when the find perfect nesting and breeding grounds near water bodies of Sariska. We offer specially curated birding experiences to wetlands and backwaters of water bodies near by where you can see flocks of bar headed geese, cranes, storks. It is an experience which has calming effect as you witness peaceful backwaters bustling with birdlife. We at Sariska Lodge welcome you to explore the resident and migratory birds of Sariska with our team of Naturalist.

Sunrise Morning Walk

The best way to observe nature is to go slow and what better than being on foot. This walk on the less explored trails near Lodge could give you small surprises, interactions with shepherds while they grazes their cattle or you could see a bird of prey resting on top of tree waiting for the next move. The trail ends with a place between to bushes where we stop for tea and delicacies pack from Lodge. Explore the less explored in rural setup of Sariska with Lodge.


Pandupole Temple Visit

The holy temple of Pandupole lies in the centre of Sariska Tiger Reserve. It is an appealing experience for people looking for religious and natural offerings of Sariska. An hours drive into the jungle where you can spot herds of Spotted deers, Sambhars, wildboars and peacocks before you soak yourself into spirituality of Lord Hanuman at the Temple.
